Product details
Large and complex transitions can overwhelm standard flashing widths, creating excessive seams that raise leak risk over time. Tyvek Flashing Tape 12 in x 75 ft provides extra-wide coverage for these demanding conditions, including deep returns and broader interface zones.
The 12-inch format is often chosen to simplify detailing where multiple narrower strips would otherwise be required. Reducing seam count can improve reliability and speed, especially on high-volume opening schedules with complex geometries.
With wider products, layout planning becomes even more important: alignment, wrinkle control, pressure setting, and drainage direction all need active field management. Wider tape can improve coverage, but poor sequencing still leads to failure pathways.
